Anna Müller | Baroque Cello
At the heart of the musical work of Anna Müller is the baroque ensemble KLINGZEUG, the quartet for early and contemporary music VIERHALBIERT and ARCINVENTO, a duo for violoncello and large organ. All these ensembles focus on a dramaturgically well-thought-out concert experience that invites audiences to break away from their usual listening habits in sometimes unusual venues.
She has also worked with ensembles such as the Munich Baroque Soloists, the Academy for Early Music Berlin, Radio Antiqua, Concerto Stella Matutina, La Banda, Academia Jacobus Stainer, Tyrolean Baroque Instrumentalists and others at festivals such as the Trigonale, Regensburg Early Music Days, Innsbruck Early Music Festival, Tyrol Easter Festival and Festival d'Ambronay.
She studied in Innsbruck, Linz, Berlin and Munich, where she obtained her master's degree in baroque cello with Kristin von der Goltz in 2016. She teaches a cello and recorder class at the Landesmusikschule Telfs and is based in Innsbruck.
Looking closely to discover the unexpected, the accidentally ingenious or the deliberately hidden is what she loves doing most - especially when travelling.
